Suggest Treatment For Skin Problem On Scrotum With Dryness

Hello doctor, i have a skin problem on my scrotum, the skin over there is getting dry and flaking(white), this had happened some time ago but I applied vaseline(petroleum jelly) and the vaseline moisturisers and the problem went away. But now its there again. Also I don t really drink a lot of water if that helps. Please help.

Hi.
As per your case history you are having fungal infection called as tinea corporis.
My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Apply an emollient cream like Enmoist cream twice daily on it.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
