Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Welcome to HCM and thanks for your query.
Bioidentical hormone therapy is not a proven science and there are no controlled studies of the efficacy.
Ativan is a good anxiolytic with some anti depressant effect also.
It is your stress and anxiety that is keeping you awake.
To reduce the stress life style changes are helpful along with the proven medicines. Eat a wholesome food, exercise at least 30minutes a day, practise stress relieving measures like yoga, meditation or relaxation exercises and avoid caffeinated beverages and other stimulants.
I shall be happy to answer more queries if you have
Wish you a good night and good sleep
