Suggest Treatment For Slight Bleeding During Pregnancy
my wife is pregnant with 10 weeks and suddenly in the morning she noticed little bleeding. but rest of the day bleeding not happen. please help. by the way she is taking duphaston twice daily, pnv twice daily, bigomet sr 1g daily and folinz daily, and ecosprine 75 daily.
Any bleeding during any stage of pregnancy is alarming and needs a proper thorough evaluation. This indicates that the wellbeing of the baby could be at risk. Pregnancy test on the urine may not help immediately at this stage since it takes more than a weeks time for this test to become negative after the baby has become nonviable. However, ultrasonography (USG) will help you quite a lot. It will show whether the baby's heart activity is present or absent. Also it can pinpoint the site from where the bleeding has occurred and whether the site still continues to bleed. Also an important information that USG gives is whether the baby is at risk, whether the pregnancy can continue or it needs to be terminated. Please do not waste time, see your obstetrician immediately, get investigated thoroughly and get properly treated. Anyway, it calls for a bed rest unless the obstetrician tells otherwise.
