Suggest Treatment For Slow Learning And Poor Confidence In A Child
Hello Doctor, My nephew is 6 years old. He is not good at studies, he has lack of confidence. He does not mix up with people easily and he's a slow learner too. Sometimes he keeps repeating one sentence. He only like doing things of his own interest. We feel that his activities are of a boy smaller than his age. We often get complains of him for not doing well at studies from his teachers. We are afraid that he is not a normal child Please help and guide us so that we could help him lead a normal life.
HI, from the query you discussed about your nephew, looks like he is having Autistic behaviour. Please consult a child specialist- developmental specialist and child psychiatrist who will help you in detail.
I went through your details. I can understand you. Your nephew is just 6. How do you want your nephew to be? Please understand children learn best when they are taught playfully and with activities. That is why the curricula is designed so. Every child is like a butter fly. Every butter fly has its own colorful wings, some fly high, some fly low, each has its own intellect, skills, habits etc. Teach them what they want to learn. In the due course, they will learn what you want them to. Tell the child's parents to be good parents first, not teacher.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications. Good luck.
