Suggest Treatment For Small Blisters On The Finger

I have had small blisters between my fingers for about two weeks. I also have dollar size red crusty scabs on different parts of my body. They itch to the point that I scratch them raw. thought that it was poison oak at first, but it s winter. Could it be shingles?

Hi,

No,it is not shingle( herpes zoster). It may be prurigo with infection. Kindly consult the dermatologist. After thorough examination and investigations, he might give proper treatment.

I would suggest...

- antihistaminics
- short course of antibiotic
- tappering course of steroids
- antibiotic cream on the lesions
- avoidance of triggering factors
- avoid soap bath, Dettol liq may be used to bath..few drops in bucket
- avoid stress and anxiety
