Suggest Treatment For Small Bumps All Over The Body

When I spend time in the sun I develop raised bumps on different areas of my body. They look similar to heat rash but I don t think that is what this is! They start off clear then turn deep red later. They prickle like heat rash and they go away after a day or two. ( if I stay out of sun and heat to allow them to go away) at different times on different days I can get these on my chest, tops of hands, tops of feet, front of thighs, etc. I never know where they will develope next. I m mystified because I can get these even if I m in the shade or covering say the tops of my feet with cold washcloths. What might this be and is there any way to avoid it without staying inside for the entire summer?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small bumps all over the body which seems to be due to allergic reaction and instant response of body to certain stimulus. It could be due to excessive exposure to sunlight. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to start with intake of antihistamine medication such as benadryl. You can take Allegra as well and start application of clindamycin gel on these areas. Apply cotton dipped in tea tree oil and apply them on scars. Drink plenty of water. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and go for micro-peeling and dermabrasion. You can apply aloe vera gel on them as well. Don't use any cosmetics and hard substances. Wash your skin 2-3 times a day with mild soap and warm water to prevent the accumulation of oil ,dust and bacteria on your skin. Apply vitamin E oil at night.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well soon.

Best Wishes,
