Suggest Treatment For Small Dent On Head With Headaches

My daughter just turned 17 and about 8 months ago we noticed a small dent on the right side of her head near the top just where her head curves down. It has grown significantly over the last 8 months and she is suffering with severe headaches that last for days. What is happening?

Abberations like that if progressively growing in size or changing shape or causing problems could suggest intracranial growth or attachment of skull with any of its underlying surface pulling it down from inside. Get a plain skull xray and ct scan of brain as head start and visit a neurosurgeon.
