Suggest Treatment For Small Dry Spots On The Buttock And Lower Back

I have dry spots on my lower back leading to my butt. It started happening afteriI used baby oil and realized the oil dried out my skin more that moisturize it. The spots don t itch and I travel between a tropical climate in the summer and a mountain climate in the fall, winter and spring. Should Ibe concerned? I use Shea butter and coconut oil, it helps a little so far. Should I keep using it or see a docter

Hello,
Thanks for the query,
You might have developed fungal infection.
The area of buttocks is very moist and is prone to develop these infections.
Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.
Various antifungal powders like candid are availabe.
These can help reduce the moisture as well as control the infection.
Please dont use any steroid, it can worsen your condition
Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
