Suggest Treatment For Small Itchy Red Bumps On The Inner Thigh

Hello. I have three bumps on my inner thigh that form an isosceles triangle with the height of the similar sides being about two inches apart. I did not consider this a rash because they are so far apart. However, they all have the same characteristics. They started off like very small pimples with clear liquid. After squeezing them and irritating them more, they are now about a half a centimeter wide and they are fleshy pink. It s been about a month and the itchyness, pinkness, and size have not gotten any better.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small itchy red bumps on the inner thigh which seems to be due to hair follicle infection leading to folliculitis and it could be due to furuncle or boil. Need not to worry. Avoid touching or pricking it with sharp object. I would suggest you to apply topical antibacterial ointment and wear loose clothes. You should avoid sharing your clothes with someone and avoid taking anyone's clothes. You should take course of oral antibiotics. Maintain complete hygiene and keep area little dry. Visit dermatologist once if symptoms keeps on persisting. Start treatment after complete examination and proper prescription.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
