Suggest Treatment For Small Red Blisters On The Neck And Shoulder
For about 6 weeks, I have had a red long place on my neck shoulder area and it has small blisters. It gets better then worse again, even draining. I have been seen by 2 MD s and they both told me it wasn t Shingles (I had the shot 7 years ago), I also saw a Dermatologist who prescribed me methoprednisone and I took it for 3 weeks and it hasn t helped. Can you tell me what this condition is and how I might be able to treat it?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of small red blisters on the neck and shoulder which seems to be due to hair follicle infection by bacteria and as sebaceous glands are abundant there so clogging of skin pores by bacteria, debris and dead decaying substances. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain cleanliness of area and keep it dry. You should take diet rich in multivitamins and apply betnovate cream 2-3 times a day. You should apply topical antibacterial ointment mupirocin on it. Avoid touching or pricking it. You should apply vitamin E Oil at night as well. Wear loose clothes. Take oral antibiotic course as well. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
