Suggest Treatment For Small Red Bumps On The Shoulder , Chest And Arm

Hello, I went to the beach 2 weeks ago and forgot to apply sun screen. I first had a few tiny bumps on my shoulder and redness then I picked at it and it started to peel and after that it spread all over my chest, shoulders, and all down my arm... I have patchy spots everywhere. What can that mean?

My Dear

Welcome to Healthcaremagic!
I have noted your details and related concerns. My view is that:

1 You appear to have got adverse effects of ultraviolet radiation from sun exposure

2 The patchy spots that you have noticed are due to uneven loss of scales, which are nothing but dead skin cells-in the process of being replaced by fresh skin layers regenerating underneath

3 For any person in such a situation, I would have given Hydrocortisone cream mixed with equal proportion of cold cream and applied twice a day and also on need based basis.


4 For itching. I would have given Anti allergic

5 I would also have advised future protection and use of sunscreens.
