Suggest Treatment For Small Sized Kidney

Sir I am Deepali patwa I am 33 year old leady and my problem is - My right side kidney is small then left kidney , my right side kidney size is 9.1 x 3.1 , and S Cretinine is 1.66 My urine culture report is as- urine culture report source urine status final pus cells 0- 1 epithelial cells 4 - 6 culture no growth after 48 hr of aerobic incubation adequacy of sample adequate please advise me

A right kidney size of 91 x 31 mm is acceptable. A normal kidney should be measuring more than 80 mm in length and your right kidney measurement is above normal. The left kidney is usually larger in measurement than right one in everyone. The difference in size of both kidney should be within 2 cms. Please do not worry about size of your kidneys.

Coming to your serum creatinine report a value of 1.66 is in the upper limits of normal as per some laboratories. Please check with your laboratory for reference range and after discussing with your doctor, you can get it repeated at a standardised laboratory and compare serum creatinine levels.

The urine culture test is normal and you do not have any bacterial infections. You do not need any medications for that.
