Suggest Treatment For Small Tear On The Side Of Labia Minora

I have a small tear on the side of my labia minora. It itches and I have recently had more discharge, but not cottage cheese-like, but I assume it is a typical yeast infection. I am prone to yeast infections, but the tearing has not occurred before. For treatment, would you recommend fluconazole or a topical cream such as monistat?

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to vaginal infection bacterial vaginosis, yeast.
I would suggest to consult the gynecologist and undergo vaginal examiantion, vaginal swab test to confirm the cause.
Doctor will give following advises:
Single dose treatment of fluconazole
Vaginal suppository of clotrimazole and lactobacillus
Take warm sitz bath with added betadine
Maintain proper pelvic hygiene
Wear pure cotton loose inner and avoid perfumed cosmetics and soap
