Suggest Treatment For Soft Tissue Abscess In The Perineum

I had a soft tissue abscess in the perineum that had to be drained. I went on antibiotics and It was healing. That was 4 weeks ago. Noticed it was sore earlier this week. Noticed blood two days ago now have a small open wound? What is this called? what dr do I go see to get it fixed for good?

Hi, welcome to HCM.
Regarding the abscess, i assume it was left an open wound to help clear any pus and discharge remaining. Since it has been 4 weeks since then, it should have healed by now unless very large.
Do you have fever, pain, pus again from the area?
In any case I would advise you to re visit your treating doctor preferably or a surgeon and get the wound looked at. There maybe infection, preventing it from healing or causing it to come back. It might just need a cleaning and dressing.
Once the doctor sees it, they can advise you regarding further antibiotics or treatment required. Till then, keep the area clean and dry as possible. Apply the antibiotic cream advised.
Don't use any harsh chemicals on the area.
Visit a doctor as soon as possible.
