My frenulum started hurting 2 days ago, up until this morning i didn't notice anything different about it but now it feels really rough to the touch at the top half (closest to my tongue). It hurts to stick my tongue out and lift my tongue which is making eating and drinking difficult. there aren't any noticeable sores, it just looks red. Do you know what that is? is there any way of making it feel better faster?
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query. The soreness over the frenulum in mouth can be a inflamed salivary gland duct opening. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. You can apply topical anesthetic like lignocaine and topical analgesic like choline salicylate. Do saline gargling. I hope my answer will help you, take care.
