Hi my name is Nicole, i m 37 and really overweight i m at around 245 pounds, i work in a fish plant standing up on cement for 10-12 hours a day 6 days a week , i m getting sore knees and ankles even one side of my rib cage for ( rolling the lobtser legs on the rollers .. keeping my arm moving forward and backward every few seconds .. my question is what kind of food or vitamins could i take to help not to get arthrist and keep my bones and articulations healthy and any other advice would be welcome .. thanks
I think pain which you are having is more of a postural pain which occurs due to keeping your self in same position for long time. If it is possible then I would recommend you to take few minutes break after every ten to fifteen minutes work. That will help. As you have asked about food, I wold encourage you to take certain food items like chicken, egg, fish, butter milk in your diet. Also make sure that you get 20 minutes of sun exposure daily. This will help in getting you calcium and vitamin D. I would also recommend you to take vitamin B complex and calcium and vitamin D 3 tablets for next three months. Take more green leafy vegetables in food, like spinach.
