Suggest Treatment For Sore, Thick Calf Muscles And Hard, Dry Skin Around My Ankles With Lingering Indentations From Taking Prednisone

I had ankle swelling while on a med (prednisone) which I only took for a few weeks. The swelling went down after I stopped the med and took furosemide. Since then I have thick sore calf muscles and the skin around my ankles is hard and dry. For a while it would stay pushed in for quite a while if I pushed on a spot, now the skin recovers quicker (only a minute or two of looking pressed in when I press it. My doctor has no idea what is going on and is not helping me. This has been going on now for 2 months with only a little change.
