Hi, I am a 21 year old female of average height, weight and diet. However, I have been having a persistent sore throat, nausea, extreme fatigue, and my acid reflux (which I have had since I was 15) has seemed to get much worse recently causing severe burning pain in my throat. I also have an oddly shaped, flat, white (with a little red) patch on the back of my throat. I went to the urgent care and they did a strep test which came back negative. The doctor dismissed my symptoms as a simple sinus infection although (having had many in the past) this doesn t feel like any sinus infection I ve ever had. The doctor did say the patch in the back of my throat was definitely not Strep. Any ideas what s causing these symptoms, especially this weird white patch on my throat? Thanks in advance for any help!
