Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, Cough And Swelling.

I went to emergency late fri , swollen neck glands. bad hacking cough, swollen shut throat. I could not swallow my own saliva. (spit) put me on iv with steroid to reduce swelling. I am woman almost 73, next month. Scripts amoxicillin 500mg, acetaminophen-codine#3 tablet. Felt better yesterday morn + had good night sleep. started coughing again in afternoon. by evening coughing bad + face neck very red. Up all night coughing bad. can't get stuff up. using expectoant. I haven slept for 28 hours. Throat swollen shut again. Glands getting big again. Can't drink or eat. Voice gone for 4 days now, HELP

So you have to conduit otorhinolaryngologist for indirect laryngoscopy examination Which is OPD procedure to visualize Larynx. You might get admitted and steroid given for three to five days to cover inflammation. Antibiotic also can be given to cover bacteria. Salt water gargle done with warm water three times a day.Avoid excess spicy foods Take one tsp turmeric powder with milk daily.
