Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

i have a sore throats but not scratchy itchy or couch really when i tilt my head it hurts my throats on the left side i have hypothyroidism and have for 23 yrs but my grandmother had thyroid cancer with 3/4 of her throats taken out . how do i ask my doctor to test me and is this pain possibly related to cancer ? YYYY@YYYY

Dear I will appreciate your about your own health, yes there is 5%thyroid malignancies are familial. A 5-fold higher chance of developing papillary thyroid cancer was seen among first degree relatives. Dear it may be due to simple viral pharyngitis, any way consult endocrinologist and physician they will do usg thyroid scan, tsh, t3, t4 levels, if any pathology seen may require fnac also. Just use tab Amoxillinclvulinate 625 mg thrice a day for 5days, if symptoms not improved consult your doctor.
