Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat

Hi, I had just recently got a sore throat, it was rather sudden and hurt throughout the whole day. I went to sleep thinking it would get better, and i woke up feeling much worse. My throat was hurting really bad, i have very painful headaches and i constantly feel liquids running in the back of my throat. I also have a pressure feeling in my ears.

Hello,

As per your query you have symptoms of a sore throat and pressure feeling in ears which seems to be due to upper respiratory tract infection traveling to ears and leading to eustachian dysfunction. Need not to worry about it. I would suggest you
-Do warm saline gargles.
-Apply warm compresses on the ear.
-Take a proper course of antibiotics.
-Avoid oily and sharp food.
-Drink plenty of fluids.
-Apply mist humidifiers in the room.
-Avoid cold carbonated beverages.
-You should visit ENT specialist once and get it examined.
-You should get paranasal sinus x-ray done along with throat swab test and blood tests and start treatment after proper diagnosis.
