Suggest Treatment For Sore Throat, ear Ache And Swollen Neck Lymph Nodes

I am a 46 year old female with a sore throat, mainly on left back side of throat (behind left tonsil). There appear to be white sores on that part of the throat and I have an earache in my left ear. General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to tonsillitis which is an infection of the tonsils.

I suggest continuing the cycle of Amoxicillin that you have started.

I also suggest using a throat spray for antibacterial properties.

I recommend using anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
