I recently had laryngitis and I believe I finally overcame it hopefully last week. I woke up this morning and the back of my tongue is completely sore... When I stick my tongue out of lift it up it feels like I am stretching it after a long day of working out. Just like when you work out your legs then the next day you wake up, they are sore and you stretch them and it has that feeling of it hurts so good. Except with my tongue... The pain does not stop... So truthfully once I am done "stretching" my tongue... There is no more "it hurts so good". My throat is not sore and it feels far from a sore throat. It hurts very bad to move my tongue. It feels sore and hurts when I talk, especially swallow, chew food, drink my water, and now sometimes move my neck. It also is starting to feel sore and hurt under my jawline and kind of on my neck when I press on it and any other day it would not feel sore or hurt when I press on it. I have no Idea if it has anything to do with the fact that I recently had laryngitis... But I was just curious as to what is going on with me?? I hope you can help. Thanks!
