Suggest Treatment For Sores In The Throat And Headache

For the last 6-7 days days, I've been dealing with an intense 'throbbing' pain in both of my temples. The pain usually starts around 6-7pm. Also, I've developed 'cold sore' like bumps on the far back of my tongue. One on the left and one on the right. Any advice?

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding sore throat and headache. As you said about bumps on back of throat, probably you may also be having tonsillitis because lonsils are situated at the posterior part of throat.

You are advice for consutation with an ENT doctor to examine and investigate for disease process and treatment as to avoid further cmplications. Till you are waiting for specialist you may take-

1- Tab Paracetamol.

2- Warm saline gargling.

3- Anti histaminic and decongestant.

4- Adequate fluid orally.

probably by above treatment you will feel better.

Regards.
