Suggest Treatment For Splitting And Breaking Of Nails
Recently my finger nails have begun to split and break at the quick? Is there a reason for this? If it is caused from enemia my medication is probably the reason. I have myelofibrosis and taking Jakafi. I am unable to take iron pills can you help with another way to take in my diet?

The possible cause of the splitting of the nails is onychomycosis which is a fungal infection of the nails .Topical antifungal creams like clotrimazole can be applied over the affected area.Oral antifungal like fluconazole can also be used.Regards
