Suggest Treatment For Spotting While On Daphne Pills

I started taking Daphne pills last March 4, 2018. Two days before that (March 2, 2018), I had brown secretions but it was only on March 4, 2018 that my menstruation started regularly, hence, i took my first pill on that day. I had menstruation for about two (2) only and after that the brown secretions again for 3 more days. On the 10th day of taking the pill (March 14), I had brown secretions again. The following day, i had my period again. Is this normal?

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Bleeding and spotting while on Daphne pills is unlikely and not normal. I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist for proper internal examination to rule out any local cause of spotting and bleeding.

Hope you found the answer helpful.
