Suggest Treatment For Squeezed Feeling In Heart

My husband has been feeling like his heart is being squeezed especially if he bends over after or during lifting weights. We have to immediately go home so he can lay down. After laying down a few minutes he feels fine. He saw a cardiologist and he just said he s dehydrated. We make sure he is fully hydrated and it happened again today. What is it? Doctor said he has no clogged arteries, his heart checked out fine and couldn t find anything. We have no answers!

Hi welcome to HCM.
This could be anginal pain.I advice you to get him a baseline EKG and a screening 2 dimensional echo to rule out cardiac events like coronary heart disease.Monitor the blood pressure.Drugs like aspirin and clopilet will help to reduce the pain.A coronary angiography will help to rule out clogged arteries.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
Thank you
