Suggest Treatment For Stabbing Pain In The Rib Cage

Hi, I think I bruised my ribs...left hand side... On Saturday and today the pain has got worse it is now a constant stabbing pain and really hurts whenever I do anything especially put pressure on the left side do I need the doctors or just pulled a muscle maybe?

hi, i appreciate your concern. it seems u have injured your rib on left side.leading to muscle tenderness also ,and hurts on move ments.it is advisable to get an x-ray of chest done to rule out possibility of fracture in rib.as treatment is concern ,avoid taking pressure on left side for atleast 10 days,some time stapping is needed if pain on breathing,along with local pain releiving cream,warm fomentation,.also to cosult ur ortho expert for checking.thanks.i will be happy to answer any future query.
