Suggest Treatment For Stabbing Pain In Throat

I had a recurring problem in the left tonsil, for about 4 years, it comes and go after Amixicilin. It did not worked this time, and this acute and stabbing pain, pounding pain is moving toward the left side of my head up, it now if moving toward the left side front up. Doctor said it is a simple tonsil infection, but I thing it may be an access, but nothing is visible.

Thanks for your query. The kind of pain you are describing may be associated with an elongated styloid process. You will need clinical evaluation / throat examination for palpating tonsillar fossa and radiological investigations for arriving at a diagnosis and its management. Please see an ENT physician in your area for evaluation.
