Welcome to Healthcare magic
I will help you with your problem.

First sorry to know about your father. His tumor stage is IVA! as metastasis is limited to one organ. With this 5 years survival is 10%. But studies have shown that those who undergo liver resection for colorectal tumor metastasis, 5 year survival increase to 33% and in half of this percentage the disease is completely cured. Although it is dependent on number of factors like metastasis size, Carcino-Embryonic Antigen (CEA) levels, tumor more than one etc. You need to get him reviewed in some good center practicing multidisciplinary team approach for such disease. His management will require the expertise of colorectal surgeon, hepatic surgeon, oncologist etc to get better result. Wishing you all the luck as there is good chance that he will be cured.

I hope my answer will help you. Do rate it if you like it.
