hi doctor i am 19 yrs old.. and i am suffering from stammer since my childhood. my mother has stammer too. is this a heredity character??? how can i cure it permanently??? i get really embarrass.. when i talk with my frns.. and in public..

hello, thanks for ur query, most of the stammering could be due to anxiety or abnormalities in voice box or nervous disorders. kindly first evaluate by an ent surgeon, where d problem is lying. u may require speech therapy.all d best. take care.
