Suggest Treatment For Staph Infection On Head And Redness On Face And Head
Hi, my baby has staph infection on his head and it would weep heavily. He was prescribed mupirocin and it worked after 3 days but the infection came back with a vengeance. He now has redness all over his head and face. He was switched to cephalexin and weve been on it for 5 days with very little progress. We were told to use petroleum jelly on his head for moisture but i feel like thats helping the infection more that get rid of it. Are we on the right track?
