Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

I carefully read your question and understand your concern. I would like to explain that her symptoms could be related to chronic degenerations of the vertebral column.

To relieve her symptoms, I would recommend starting gabapentine or pregabaline. These drugs can help reduce chronic back pain and also regulate her sleep.

Melatonine taken regularly is also really helpful for a good sleep.
I would also advise take an orthopedic mattress.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
