Suggest Treatment For Stiffness And Pain In Ankles

My grandfather and 3 aunts had myotonic dystrophy (they are no longer living) I am 53 years old and am having alot of trouble with stiffnes and pain in my ankles/feet...especially in the morning or when I get out of a chair..just wondering if this my be the onset of this disease?
