Suggest Treatment For Stomach Bloating , Diarrhea And Gastritis
Hello I am writing to say that since last Saturday I have had rumbling in my stomach, I have to keep passing gas and when I go to the toilet it is hard but has stringy type mucus on the poop. I know I can't have IBS as I don't need to keep going poop every time I eat nor do I get diarrhoea or constantly feel bloated. What could the problem be?
Hello I share your concern Looking at your description excess gas might be related to Aerophagia ( swallowing of air ), use of carbonated drinks, smoking and acid peptic disease or liver and gall bladder disease. Diarrhoea might be caused by gastroenteritis or indigestion or food allergies
In my opinion you should take anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or ranitidine group of drugs with antacids for 3 to 5 days you should take probiotics and dietary fiber supplements Have lots of fluids including ORS and fruit juices to counter dehydration and electrolytic imbalances You should avoid fatty fried spicy and junk food or carbonated drinks Have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables Maintain good hygiene Hope this answers your question please feel free to ask for follow up I will be happy to help you Best wishes
