Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a blockage in my 20s have upper intestinal pain for ver an hour on Saturday after takng a laxative could barely sit still. It finally eased up after taking stomach meds and baking soda I am now very bloated and just a little tender also stool is like a baby. Last time the pain was in lower abdomen and back. Could this also be a blockage
As long as you are passing stools, it most probably is not blockage. Intestinal blockage results in stoppage of all bowel movements and thus stools and passage of flatus (gas).
If the pain persists, I would suggest you to visit the hospital and get your condition treated properly.
I hope I have answered your question. Please feel free to get back to me in case you have any more doubts.
