Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain And Bloating After Treatment Of H.pylori Infection
Hi, was treated for h.pylori infection.....finished five days ago......stomach is still very sore, get very bloated after I eat and gassy, have very little desire to eat, lost 25lbs over the last four months.....now on dexilant for three weeks, as I have to do a retest.....feels like it is not gone....help
The gut flora has altered due to anti-H.pylori therapy.
You will improve with a 2 weeks' course of a combination of a
Probiotic, such as, Lactobacilli and Digestive Pancreatic enzymes. Continue with PPIs, such as, Rabeprazole/Esmoprazole for at least 2 months for complete cure.
Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain he will agree with me and prescribe the advised medicines in appropriate doses.
