i had sex and used a condum and 2oth december i had a normal period then should of come on the 13th january but did not now about 12 days late i feel bloated and have few twinges and aches in belly a pregnancy test at 10 days late showed negative what could it be and what should i do next , thank you

IF your period is normally regular then it is possible that you have conceived.
The blood tests should be able to determine this.
Urine pregnancy tests can normally detect HCG by day 11 to 14 after possible conception. If the tests were done before this time , it is possible that they are falsely negative.
If there truly negative then other tests would be needed to determine the reason for the delay.
Other possible causes are: (1) Polycystic ovarian syndrome
(2)emotional stress or illness
(3)thyroid disease
(4)physical illness
(5)high prolactin hormone levels
(6)inadequate diet
Pregnancy is possible if you had sex around ovulation (2 days before or two days after the ovulation) which is 14 days prior to next expected period.
above all there are very less chances of pregnancy as you used a condom
so you need not to worry until diagnosis confirmed
