Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,
Stomach pain with mucus in stools is nit a uncommon symptoms seen nowadays.
Can you tell me since how many days you are facing this problem and is there any specific diet after which you have pain inside stomach.
The causes could be excess stomach acid or
acute gastritis,
gastroenteritis, or colitis.
You must undergo routine blood investigations and H.pylori, liver function tests, urinalysis and stool test, abdominal ultrasound and gastrointestinal endoscopy to detect the underlying cause.
Treatment is mainly depend on the cause but you may take symptommatic treatment meanwhile.
You may go for antibiotics treatment to your family physician or some local doctor.
Antacids like h2 blockers (ranitidine) or
proton pump inhibitors (
pantoprazole or
rabeprazole) will help to reduce excess acid production in stomach.
You can also take digene gel or liquid or ulcero-protective agents like sucralfate or bismuth subsallicylate to reduce the burning sensation.
Regards,
