I have been having stomach pains, mostly I believe caused by my didervicuous. But have been eating foods such as gravy from KFC and hot chocolate from Dunkin Donuts, which in turn cause me to vomit within 20 minutes to an hour. Some days I get the dry heaves, diarehia off and on and my stomach just does not feel right. Just had a scan done on my stomach. My PA says no unusal things but have extremely small stones in one of my kidneys. I can t belive this is causing my discomfort and vomiting. I do a lot of burpping, etc any more.
You must undergo routine blood investigations and H.pylori, liver function tests, urinalysis and stool for blood, abdominal ultrasound and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy to detect the underlying cause.
Treatment is mainly depend on the cause but you may take symptomatic treatment meanwhile.
Antacids like h2 blockers (ranitidine) or proton pump inhibitors (pantoprazole or rabeprazole) will help to reduce excess acid production in stomach.
You can also take digene gel or liquid or ulcero-protective agents like sucralfate or bismuth subsallicylate to reduce the burning sensation.
Thanks and Regards,
