Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain, Heartburn, Nausea And Vomiting
I have had stomach pain, heartburn, nausea and vomiting. I do have IBS. I haven't had a bowel movement in 10 days. I try and eat and when I take a couple of bites I feel like a want to vomit again and everything tastes weird to me. I'm still urinating and I'm not hungry like I should be. Having weird hiccups. Getting ready to take Miralax. What is causing this?
Welcome to HealthCare Magic. Thank you for posting your query. I can understand your concern.
It is difficult to comment without actually examining you . An upper GI endoscopy can help to clinch the diagnosis . It can be due to gastritis or reflux disease or a peptic ulcer - to name a few possibilities.
I would suggest you to -
- Avoid oily, spicy food - I would start tablet Pantoprazole - Have a diet rich in fibres - I would start Lactulose syrup to soften your stool - Get an ultrasound abdomen done
It may be time that you get an upper GI endoscopy and a colonoscopy done.
Do not worry.
I would suggest you to visit a gastroenterologist. He/she can examine you and correlate clinically and guide you on the further MANAGEMENT.
Hope this helps. Have a nice day. Regards.
