Suggest Treatment For Stomach Pain When Diagnosed With Pancreatitis
My adult son had fever of 102 in the night, which has gone down after taking Advil. He has pain that is consistent with pancreatitis. If he cannot get to a doctor until tomorrow does he need to stay off food and liquids or can he drink liquids to keep from getting dehydrated? YYYY@YYYY
If it is the febrile condition then underlying cause of it need to know and it can not be taken as granted, most of the time fever could be a viral infection if no obvious systems are there, during this one have routine diet with more oral liquid intake to avoid the dehydration, it is better to drink more water, but finding the underlying cause of fever is important.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Husain
