Suggest Treatment For Straining During Bowel Movements In A Child

hi , my boy has completed 3 weeks now but during feeding & after feeding he start pressing & pushing as if he want to do potty & he is becomming red noting that this matter increased after he s doctor change the kind of milk. please advise me what shall i do?

Hi... I understand your concern. But as a pediatrician I am not worried because this is quite normal in this age group. Exclusively breastfed infants can pass motion 10 times a day or 10 days once also. As long as the baby is feeding well and gaining weight well, you need not worry. Becoming red on tstraining at the stools is also a normal phenomena.
