Suggest Treatment For Strange Vaginal Odour Caused By Diverticulitis
I am 30 year old female. I had diverticulitis a few years ago and since I have had it several times. Throughout the day I have bad vaginal odor. However, when I have my period and have a tampon in there is no odor. I have been tested for std s and I have nothing. Reading online I came across anal fissures and how diverticulitis can cause them. Any suggestions on this?

it can give rise to rectovaginal fistula which can cause foul smelling vaginal discharge . You need to get CT scan of the pelvis for localisation of it according to that needs to plan treatment plan as per level and site of the fistula.
please get high vaginal swab to know cause of and type of the infection ,antibiotic of choice.
