Suggest Treatment For Strep Infection Behind Nipple

Three years ago I had a pocket of infection behind my nipple (which has always been inverted). It was strep. Over the last three years, that same breast has been infected several times, had an abcess removed and had a cyst removed. Three weeks after the cyst was removed on July 2nd, pus began draining out of the scar from the surgery. It just tested positive for strep. Has this been in my body for 3 years or does it go away and come back? It is getting frustrating. I am going to a breast clinic next week.

Hi thanks for your question.
You're suffering from recurrent streptcoccal infection from last 3 years and it is not getting treated. The best way out is to stop all antibiotics and get culture sensitive test of the puss or whatever material is coming from infection site. Then take the antibiotics, which is highly sensitive to bacteria causing recurrent infection.
Hope this answers your question.
