hi
I understand your query & concern.
Subchorionic
haematoma is collection of fluid ( mostly blood) between sub
arachnoid membrane over fetus & uterine wall.
Small haematomas are usually non harmful. But constantly increasing size has risk of hampered fetal growth/ preterm delivery.
In your case, the size is changing This may be due to changing views during USG scan Or the haematoma getting partially absorbed, at the same time new blood being collected there.
The size you have is not much harmful, yet needs to be observed & managed by your gynecologist periodically.
For preventing further rise in size-
- Take
bed rest,
- Take medications to avoid bleeding (
hormonal supplement/ haemostatic drugs )as per your doctor's advise.
* Please don't worry, most of the times there is full term birth with the small haematoma.
Thanks.
