Suggest Treatment For Supraventricular Tachycardia
I m a 46 yr old female that has been diagnosed with SVT. In April of 2014 I had catheter ablation that was unsuccessful. I currently take two tomborcor a day. But the last couplever of days I been experiencing lightheadedness and pain under the right collarbone but I m not experiencing SVT attacks could this be something else or it s it possible to be in afib and not be aware.
Hi welcome to HCM. I understand your query and concern. Many of your symptoms are related to SVT.In case of failed catheter ablation its important to rely on drugs like Amiodarone and Lignocaine. I advise you to have a baseline 2 dimensional echocardiography,ECG and lipid profile to assess the basic cardiac reserve of your heart.Restrict the intake of salt to less than 6g/day.Regular physical exercise in the form of brisk walk for 20 min a day for 5 days a week is pretty useful.Drugs like antihypertensives and antiarrhythmics will help.Reduce the intake of fatty and fried food. One pomegranate a day will help to keep your heart at good pace without clot formation. Consult a Cardiologist for further expert management.Post your further queries if any. Thank you.
