Suggest Treatment For Swallowing Difficulty With Hypoglycemia

: I am a 35 yr old woman who, until two years ago, was completely healthy, aside from hypoglycemia that runs in my family and was always controlled by diet. I don t know what happened, but all of a sudden my body doesn t want food. I want to eat and I try to eat, but as soon as I take that first bite, my throat closes off, my stomach turns over and its like my body is just sayin no to food. This isn t especially good for hypoglycemics, and it seems more and more often that when I am actually able to eat my blood sugar will drop. I have also aquired sweaty palms at the smallest bit of stress (I was never the type to be stressed, so it scares me to be so easily upset) and beginning the week before my menstrual cycle I turn psycho...something way beyond pms or pmdd...and is also something that has just begun in the past two years. I don t know if it has any connection, but beginning at the age of 18, I have had five ovarian cysts all rupture and two years ago there was a mass found on my left ovary. The doctors never gave me a definate answer on what the mass was, but they seemed to believe it was some sort of fibroid. I have visited multiple doctors and have had everything from biopsies and anti-depressants to swallowing tests and no one has an answer. I don t feel any of those doctors are taking me seriously, maybe because it is such an odd situation. Please...do you have any ideas on what may be causing this drastic and frightening change?

Hello,

The ovarian cysts that get ruptured cause serious symptoms, get regular pelvic examinations done. Abdominal bloating/fullness, nausea-vomiting, discomfort, rapid breathing, dizziness are symptoms caused by the ruptured cysts.

It is a medical emergency & should get immediate medical attention & treated.

Neglect may cause formation of an ovarian mass that is mostly benign in nature but at times can be malignant. Ovarian torsion can be another complication.

You are recommended to get CT, MRI done & get evaluated of the factor causing discomfort. Treatment is commonly laparotomy or laparoscopy. Birth control pills are equally effective.

Take a balanced diet, stay well hydrated so that your blood sugar levels are normal. Hypoglycemia may cause fatigue, shakiness, dizziness, irritability or pale skin. Avoid addictions if any.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
