Suggest Treatment For Swallowing Difficulty

My son is having difficulty swallowing. Sometimes he can eat fine and other times he chokes and thinks food enters into his lungs. Is there a condition where the trachea doesn t close properly? FYI ,he has many procedures and doctor visits. YYYY@YYYY

Hello,

In tracheoesophageal fistula, trachea and esophagus can be communicated. Esophageal Web also can lead difficult swallowing.

For rule out cause endoscopy procedure can be done. Kindly provide your reports and medication history for giving more comment. Consult the physician for examination.
