Suggest Treatment For Swelling And Bruise Around The Eye Caused By Hitting
After falling and hitting my face 36 hours ago and needing stitches above my left eyebrow my eyes have now become swollen. I notice the welling immediately wen I woke up this morning approx four hours ago and seem to be getting bruising under and above my eyes. I also hit my nose during the fall ad have graze my face, is the eye swelling normal for such an injury?

It seems from the history that you are having swelling and bruise following injury.
This is commonly seen injuries above the level of the eye brow.
This is because of collection of blood and inflammatory fluids.
This will resolve by 1-2 weeks as these gets absorbed slowly.
Use of cold compression and antiinflammatory drugs provides symptomatic relief.
